Alba Life Inc (Shkolla Shqipe Alba Life network)

Alba Life Inc is an Albanian-American nonprofit based in Staten Island that runs Shkolla Shqipe "Alba Life," a network of Albanian-language schools serving families across New York. The organization is registered as a 501(c)(3) and files the IRS Form 990-N e-postcard, which is why detailed financials and board rosters do not appear in public nonprofit databases.

In its own words, Alba Life works "to preserve the Albanian heritage and cultivate Albanian culture and traditions among the Albanian Community in the United States." Its stated purposes are three: maintain a community center and cultural events, run Albanian-language courses (open to non-native speakers as well), and build a network of Albanian professionals who help new immigrants settle into life in the U.S.

The Shkolla Shqipe network is the most visible piece of that mission, with school sites tied to the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, and Albany.
