About Duka FC

Area served:
metro Detroit and the Midwest Albanian community

Duka FC is an adult men's soccer club based in Milford, Michigan, competing in the United Premier Soccer League's Premier Division, Midwest East conference. The club was founded by head coach Gentian (Genti) Nonaj, who continues to lead the team on the sideline and has also managed Duka FC-branded sides in regional Michigan adult leagues.

According to UPSL's own feature on the club, Duka FC was built not only to compete at a high level but to serve as a connection point for the Albanian community in the Midwest. Soccer is the vehicle; the wider purpose is to bring Albanian-American players and supporters together around a team that carries their heritage into American amateur competition.

Home matches are played in western Oakland County, with fixtures staged at Milford High School and at TOCA Wixom. That places the club inside the greater Detroit metro area, the region with one of the largest Albanian-American populations in the country, and gives local families a competitive team to follow week to week.

On the field, Duka FC posted a 6-4-0 record in UPSL Midwest East play during the 2025 Spring season, scoring 30 goals across the campaign. Match results from that season include a 2-3 loss to Drita SC at TOCA Wixom on April 6, 2025, and a 2-5 result against Detroit United at Milford High School the following week.
