St. E. Premte (St. Paraskevi) Albanian Orthodox Church

St. E. Premte (St. Paraskevi) Albanian Orthodox Church is a historic Albanian-American parish on Cleveland's west side, at 10716 Jasper Ave., Cleveland, OH 44111. The parish describes itself as a community of faith, heritage, and love, and is dedicated to St. Paraskevi (St. E. Premte), reflecting an explicit Albanian and Illyrian heritage connection.

The community was founded in 1938, when Cleveland's Albanian Orthodox faithful organized the Society of St. E Premte and chose St. Paraskevi as their patron. The society purchased land for a church in 1944, and a parish hall on Jasper was completed in 1955, the same year Rev. Stephen Lasko came to serve. The current church building was completed in 1965, and that property on Jasper Rd. SW remains the parish home today.

St. E. Premte is a parish of the Albanian Archdiocese of the Orthodox Church in America, the canonical Albanian Orthodox jurisdiction in the United States. It is listed among the sister parishes of that archdiocese alongside other historic Albanian-American congregations.

Sunday Divine Liturgy is celebrated at 10:00 AM. The church sits roughly fifteen minutes from downtown Cleveland, with access from I-90, I-480, and I-71, and draws Albanian Orthodox families from across the greater Cleveland area. The parish can be reached at (216) 941-1508.
