St. Lucy's Parish — Albanian Apostolate (Bronx Albanian Catholic community)

St. Lucy's Parish is a Roman Catholic parish of the Archdiocese of New York, located at 833 Mace Avenue in the Allerton section of the Bronx. The parish was established in 1927, and the current church building dates to 1937. Within its broader pastoral life, the parish hosts an Albanian-language ministry that serves as a religious home for Albanian Catholics in the Bronx.

The Albanian Apostolate operates as part of the parish rather than a separately incorporated entity. St. Lucy's is publicly noted for offering Mass in five languages — Albanian, Creole, English, Italian, and Spanish — a reflection of how diverse its neighborhood has become. Albanian-language liturgy is the clearest, most documented expression of the parish's Albanian ministry.

Beyond the Albanian Mass, the parish provides the regular sacramental and pastoral services of a Catholic parish: daily and Sunday Masses, confession, and rectory office hours published through the Archdiocese.

The church is also known locally as "The Lourdes of New York," a nickname tied to its grotto modeled on the Shrine at Lourdes. The grotto is open daily from morning to sunset, weather permitting, and draws visitors from beyond the immediate parish.
