Albanian Cultural Legacy Center

The Albanian Cultural Legacy Center (ACLC) is a nonprofit based in Austin, Texas, at 5900 Balcones Drive. According to its website, it was founded in 2024 with a mission to connect and serve Albanians across the region and to preserve and pass down language, culture, and history to the next generation.

ACLC works across the Austin and San Antonio area. Its board, as described on the organization's site, includes Albanians from across the ethnic Albanian lands, reflecting an intent to serve the broader diaspora rather than a single regional community.

Much of the center's public-facing work is built around children. Its School page invites parents to register children for instruction in Albanian language and culture, framing the program as the core of how the center carries heritage forward. The donate page describes supporting that heritage work through contributions and event sponsorships.

As a young organization — announced publicly on its Facebook page as a new nonprofit charitable organization in Austin — ACLC sits alongside other Texas-based Albanian groups, but it should not be confused with the separately incorporated Albanian American Heritage Center in Denton. ACLC is its own Austin entity, focused on the Central Texas Albanian community.
