Albanian School of Las Vegas (Shkolla Shqipe)

Albanian School of Las Vegas — known in Albanian as Shkolla Shqipe — is an Albanian-language and cultural school initiative serving Albanian families in Las Vegas and the broader Albanian community in Nevada. Its reported purpose is language preservation, cultural continuity, and the creation of a dedicated educational and social space for Albanians in the region.

The school held an informational meeting on April 17, 2026, at which organizers presented the curriculum, teaching methods, and organizational plans for the expected opening. That meeting, reported by the Albanian-language outlet Atlantiku, marked a public step toward establishing a formal Albanian-language school in Las Vegas — a city without a previously documented institution of this kind.

The school's core mission centers on helping children in the diaspora maintain Albanian language and cultural ties. Details about class levels, schedule, tuition, accreditation, and teaching staff had not been made public as of the available reporting.
