St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church (Assumption of the Virgin Mary)

St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church is a parish of the Albanian Archdiocese of the Orthodox Church in America, located at 535 Salisbury Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. The Albanian community of Worcester organized the parish in 1911, making it one of the older Albanian Orthodox congregations in New England.

The current Byzantine-style church building was completed in 1983, designed by architect Andrew Isaak of Isaak & Isaak in Manchester, New Hampshire. The sanctuary holds illuminated icon paintings by Worcester-based iconographer Dhimitri Cika. The parish operates under the omophorion of His Grace Nikodhim, Bishop of the Albanian Archdiocese.

Alongside Divine Liturgy and the sacramental life of the church, the parish runs a Church School and a Women's Guild. The Guild was founded at the church in 1955 and meets the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm in the church hall; it raises funds for the parish and helps supply textbooks, materials, and field trips for the Church School.

The parish hosts an Albanian Festival documented in the Massachusetts state digital archives, giving it a public role as a cultural gathering point for Albanian-American life in Central Massachusetts. The community describes itself as a growing Christian congregation of people from various ethnic and social backgrounds, rooted in the Albanian Orthodox tradition but open to the wider Worcester area. The parish maintains an active YouTube channel with recordings of services and a Facebook page for the local community.
